How to Transform the Look of a Wedding Venue on a Budget

Weddings are made in heaven but not many couples get a heaven-like venue to exchange vows. Don’t let the wedding venue stand in your way to create your dream wedding. Even a simple venue can be made to look stylish with little details. All you need is creativity. Even if you have chosen a grand ballroom or a hotel, you need to wow your guests with something impressive as they enter. Here are some decoration ideas to transform the look of a London wedding venue for hire and amaze the guests with an awe-inspiring setting.

Special Lighting Effects

Even if the venue doesn’t need additional decoration, but some special lighting effects will help to set the right mood. If you don’t like that floral rug, draw the attention on ceiling by projecting a beautiful pattern like a monogram or a motif. If you want to give a sophisticated vibe, use strings of fairy lights on every surface. Twinkling fairy lights wrapped in tulle look like fireflies caught in a net. You can add colour to the ambience with lighting and create the mood you want. Intense colours like red set the party mood while cool blues and whites set a soothing ambience.

Tulle Fabric

Decorating any space with tulle fabric is an easy and cheap way to add style and sophistication to a setting. Hang strands of fairy lights and tulle sheets from the centre of the ceiling and secure the ends on sides of the room to create a tent like structure. Door entrances or pillars, anything can be made to look sophisticated with tulle wrapped around them. Decorating the boring burgundy chairs is truly a challenge and tulle chair sashes are the best solution to it. Using colourful tulle chair sashes is great way to bedazzle your venue.

Candles

Many brides dream of a candlelit reception as candles add intrigue, romance, and intimacy to a setting. But what if your wedding venue doesn’t allow candles because of the fire hazard? Do not worry. You can easily achieve the same look with electric replica candles. These candles offer more choices and highly artistic designs without any fire hazards. Rustic lanterns with LED candles look tremendous.

Centrepieces

Modern weddings are steering away from boring floral centrepieces and moving towards something outside the box. Large cylinder vases with LED lights add colour and give a unique aura to the space. For a sweet and sophisticated look, you can place lantern with tea lights or glass bowls with floating candles. Don’t forget to use the centrepieces to evoke your theme. Like, for a winter wonderland theme, you can use crystal tree centrepieces while a birdcage centrepiece suits a vintage wedding best.

Set Up Stations

From tattoo booths to cigar bars, adding mini parties around the wedding hall can make a dull space look exciting. Create a lounge area where guests can relax a bit and enjoy a boozy cocktail. Add some special lighting elements to differentiate the lounge area from the rest of the hall like lava lamps, lanterns, or strobe lights. Also, set up mini food and drink stations offering culinary delights from around the world. Don’t give your guests a chance to stare at the not-so-hot centrepiece or wallpaper.

There are plenty of unique and creative ideas to make your wedding venue look remarkable. All you need to do is think out of the box.
